String Quartet 4 Colours

 

During its long career, the quartet has given numerous concerts, provided musical backgrounds for many prestigious ceremonies and participated in some interesting art events throughout Poland. 

The Quartet has accompanied plenty of stars, including: Eleni, Grażyna Łobaszewska, Ewa Uryga, Marek Bałata, The Shekinah Singers, Clive Brown, Janice Harrington, Anna Serafińska, Janusz Szrom, Dorota Osińska, Kostas Dźokas, Marcin Walder-Thomas, Brian Fentress, Ingrid Diem, Josefa de Andres Galvan, Jerzy Szymaniuk, and Krystyna Prońko. Its artistic works include also participation in recording seven CDs (five live performances) and some programmes broadcasted by the Polish Television - TVP. 

 

The Quartet’s leading idea has always been to familiarize wide ranges of listeners with the beauty of music. Those musicians from Gdańsk have always considered playing the music as a passion - be it a classical concerto or just an entertaining event during a small meeting. 

The group has earned the label of a reliable and professional one and many of the Quarter’s listeners have become its fans - and that group includes some respected specialists in music, many representatives of media and lots of music lovers. 

 

Presently the Four Colours String Quartet cooperates with the largest institutions, companies and event organizers in Pomerania. 

The music interpreted by the Four Colours is original and far from the usual standards. It is the musicians’ youthful passion and their years of experience that make the concerts by Four Colours impress their listeners.
